June Fast Day 3

So we've looked at kingdom synergy in regards to the power of the Holy Spirit and our faith.  Let's look at how kingdom Synergy is imperative to the body of Christ.  1 Corinthians 12: 14-20  For the body is not one member , but many .   If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I am not  a part  of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less  a part  of the body.   And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not  a part  of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less  a part  of the body.   If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?   But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired.   If they were all one member, where would the body be?   But now there are many members, but one body. The above passage of scripture emphasizes  th...

June Fast Day 1

Our focus this fast is kingdom synergy  According to Cambridge English Dictionary synergy is "the combined power of a group of things when they are working together that is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately". This is powerful!  Think about how this is applicable in our christian walk. Before we think about the power achieved in group activities, let us think about the power established in our lives when we profess our belief of God and received the Holy Spirit.  Immediately there is a spiritual shift that takes in place. The spiritual shift is really for our benefit. God does not need us. We need God. And God is gracious enough to not just call us, give us life eternally when we repent and seek Him, but He has also given us authority. John 15:5 reads  I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him , he  bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing . The key to us operating in power is our abidin...

June Fast Day 2

Lets continue to explore Kingdom Synergy The fundamental part of our christian walk is faith! And faith as we know it is synergistic when met with action. Think about Abraham. His faith was credited to him as righteousness because it was met with action. When God spoke to Abraham, his response was obedience. His obedience was evident by him leaving his homeland and family to venture to a place that he did not know. He also committed to sacrificing his promised child because God told him to. Another example of him operating in faith.  James 2:17 reads even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself . Powerful! Faith without the evidence of works is rendered dead. Which means faith and works have a synergistic relationship. This is not a charge to be compelled to works as a means to an end, because God wants our hearts.  However our actions tell us where our heart is, and what our desires are. Ultimately what our minds meditate on. If we are walking in faith an...
